Officially engaged on 24/10/2010. It was a wonderful day. The only thing i regretted was lack of family photos due to the busy and tight schedule. So as a measure to prevent this situation from happening again, i stubbornly booked PGs for both wedding events in KK and KB although it was not an item in the planned budget. =_=

Well, 39 days to go. My eyebags are still there and i have decided to accept the fact that it will be there forever. Argh!!!!

J is planning to go back to KK for good. And i will have to plan for that as well. Just hope to find some lights in my transfer matter.

Anyway, Jingle Bell the bell is ringing Santa is coming. It's the season of sharing! Alphabets S A L E are looking so temptatious!

Summary of May and June

1. Admitted hospital again.And discharged with a mc until end of June.
2. Pre-wedding photoshoot coming up. i haven't feel the nerve but have start a routine of forcing myself to get up not later than 8am in the morning to adjust my sleeping habit (to avoid getting insomnia the day before the shoot). gosh it will be tiring that's what i heard from all those who experienced this before.
3. I still haven't find the perfect heels for the photoshoot.i miss having my darling S as shopping kaki.
4. The wedding band is still an item to be checked off my to-do-list.
5. Please pimples or whatsoever unwelcome foreign items stay away from my face at least until after the photoshoot!
6. My 2nd sem final exam is like shit..why on earth i always end up going to my exams with a smell of hospital lingering under my nose..so shitty.
7. Hen's night to be in KL or KK? I don't even know who will / can be here for it though..will figure it out later.
8. Ji muis!!
9. I officially feel "saturated" of wedding pictures..spent too much time doing homeworks. i need a break from the white gowns red flowers.
10. J is very busy with his PE exam now.best of lucks to the dear one.

Okay so my theory is one girl has a lot of chances to wear more evening gowns in her life but wedding gown? just once is enough and is the best. hence i reckon i might as well wear more white wedding gowns for the pre-wedding photos and save the evening gowns for other occasions :p

It took 3 hours to pick 4 gowns.. ~_~ all and all it was fun yet tiring. i practiced the "fast,cruel,accurate" decision making skill here.no point to hesitate too much bah..

so here goes..pardon the no make-up face wahahaha!!!

this is the roman style gown..can't see too well here.i just love that piece of cloth flowing down my shoulder. (koya being in greece)

When i Grow Up

I drove alone from KL to Port Dickson last two week. I didn't know the way and i was worried about having to drive alone without knowing the exact way to my destination. But i did it. I googled for the map and started my journey there. It was not a pleasant journey because i was constantly worried about losing my way or missing my turns. However, it turned out to be fine and i arrived in where i was supposed to be safe and sound.

Theres one thing about this experience though. I feel like growing up a little bit more, with my courage building up a bit more, and my self-confidence growing up a bit more.

Life is full of unknowns. Its scary to get out of our own comfort zone. Its hard to gather the courage to break the limitations we tends to give ourself. But once you tried and succeed, its good to feel like growing a bit more better and wiser.

Today is my last day at work. Everything is still the same - zero motivation and dynamic. I am glad to move forward (finally!). I refuse to forfeit to slackness!

Anyway, I will start working in KL on 18th January (finally!). I need to learn to drive to workplace, to arrange my time for work, study, housechores and of cause some fun! The idea of having the cinemas all around is making me happy (why KB no cinema one sien kah beh si =_=).

CNY is coming and it's shopping time! I miss hitting the malls with my babes.

Saturday will be the first ever parents meeting day. I hope everything goes on smoothly.

I am so done with empty promises. When all the hopes i have through out this whole year came crashing down, it brings such an impact on me. When all these endurance and attempts resulted in nothing but plain disappointment, i am really done with it. No matter how many times i tried to reaasure myself that i have already done my best, i couldn't escape feeling so tired and frustrated. I wonder when will the time come when i will wake up every morning feeling sprited about going to work? Everything has been so blah lately. I think maybe its been too long. At some point, i feel like crashing down because of the neverending waits.

I stumbled upon an article lately. It says the one luxurious thing about being 25 is you still have the luxury of not having to settle down for anything. 1/4 life is period to make the best option, time for you to jump and look for the best-suits. How wonderful that sounds.

I have a good job i would say. The only bad thing about it is its becoming more and more a hindrance for me to follow my heart and my desired way of life.

Its hard to choose between being practical and being daring enough to chase for what you want. I am feeling it more and more these days. As the years progress by, life is not only about yourself. There are tonnes of people around to look after. The commitments. In a way, making a decision in life is no longer a matter of your-own-self. It has to take into account these people. The time when i can choose to do what ever i want is long gone at this point.

Its contradictary. My age is not yet the age of settling down. But my life is pushing me to be more settled down.

It has become a routine, a cycle which offer no way out, it keeps going round and round and it keeps happening. Some matters in life are fated to be there the moment you are born into this world. Through out these years, there are always some unexpected break downs which are typical, but unavoidable. It makes me feel sick. And tired. Life can be unfair at times. There are some responsibilties which you have to undertake no matter how suffocating it makes you feel. The burden is always there, you know it is there even if you try to deny. Back in kb after 9 days in kl. Its megasale everywhere!!!...but what i did for the whole 9 days was having myself locked up for some serious study time...oh i feel so guilty to not having the urge to go shopping..>_< They are selling SKII starter set at RM199, which is very very tempting..and the lovely L'Occitane sets..not to mention all the shoes and clothes and bags..=_= Christmas is the time when all the oh-so-cute things a girl need or no need are being as seductive as it can be..=_= Anyway, watched 2010 which was pretty entertaining. Cooked dinner for a week. Went to 1U for some eating marathon, had rotiboy (oh so good) and some spanish doughnats (can't remember the name). All and all it was such a peaceful period, and it almost makes me enjoy all the book-crackings..I think i am too desperate.+_+

I attended an international course in KL for 3 weeks from 5/10 to 23/10. It was such a wonderful experience to be able to meet up with a bunch of amazing people from all over the world - Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Peru, Sudan, Seychelles, Uganda, Syria, Mauritius, Jordan, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and Indonesia. The course has been splendid and the people are all so nice and warm. It was so much fun! :)

The highlight of October would be my birthday (of cause). A wonderful and blessed day made complete by so many important people of my life.

Thanks to my family for the yearly birthday song sang over the phone at the very first second of my birthday.
Thanks to Loon, Chaw and his girlfriend for the surprise birthday celebration.
Thanks to Hwang for the birthday present all the way from Japan.
Thanks to Shien for her thoughtful and surprise gift.

My 1st Hakka Dish - Niang Kai Cun

Jack's aunt taught me how to make this Hakka dish when i was in KL last week. It's one of the Hakka boy's favourite dish. Pork + Eggs are forever his favourite combination. :P

Anyway, today i made this 'niang kai cun' for papa and mummy to try. I knew they will love it because it's really good (the dish itself not my cooking). And, they sure did and i am so touched. :)))

Here it is, it might not looks too appealing (i am still learning how to wrap the pork in the egg nicely..) but it's quite tasty (i have to say so).:P

It's simple mathematics. To get an equality you have to add or minus. In life, when you gain something, you lose another thing. It's like an opportunity cost. An option you chose out of many options will incure a cost to you for choosing one alternative instead of the other. It might seems confusing. But it's simple. Take an example, place where you choose to live. Choose to be in hometown, you gain comfort at home but you might lose the freedom and experience at foreign places. Most of the time, people confuse themselves. Like me. I have this tendency of thinking too much that sometimes i will end up being hesitance. It is not good because it is a waste of time. So how? Most of the time, i have no idea. Things will come and go, a decision made, good or bad, will have its impacts erased by time. For this period, i think there should be enough thinking. So i quit. Cooking : Self-learning

I am determined to improve my cooking skills starting from yesterday.

Today, i made my first attempt in trying to boil the chicken herbal soup. The ingredients include kampung chicken, dang-shen, qi-zi, yu-zu, red dates, dried longan, bei-qi, huai-shan and a little bit of salts.

The end result: Taadaaa!!

The soup is sweet (no added sugar) and fresh. The sweetness is from the red dates and dried longan i think. Definitely not bitter at all. I like the all-so-natural flavours. :))))

Yeay, WCJ will see one day that my cooking skills is better and no more "if it's not because of love it won't be eat-able"... T_T

Hahaha!! One day i will become a good cook!

I hate people who didn't carry out their responsibilities. It's plain stupidity and lame excuse. Another type of people is those who do things not according to the supposed way, taking other's for granted and think they own the authority to mess with other's life. Darn donkeys.

Yesterday, 31st August 2009 was a blessed day. I must have stumbled on a lucky star. :)

We have come a long way in this journey, supporting each other through the laughter and the tears. The road is still long, and maybe winding, but we have faith.

I will remember every words we shared on that special day.

We will wait and see what will happen when the official moment comes.

Just be patient and anticipate for the best.

今天无意中看到了一篇引人深思的文章。

有对老夫妇，两人携手走了半世，却在该享清福的时候，两人一前一后走进了律师楼。

为的是要办离婚。

离婚后，两人约在第一次约会的餐厅，一起共进最后一次的两人晚餐。

老先生一如既往，夹了个鸡腿，跟老太太说:"鸡腿给你，吃吧。"

岂料老太太竟说:"其实，我很爱你，可是你这个人真的太自我了，每一次都是你说了就算。也没问过我的意见。其实你知不知道，我最讨厌吃鸡腿了。"

老先生听了，说:"其实，我就是最爱你了。所以我一直都想给你最好的东西。你知道吗。我最爱吃的，就是鸡腿。"

两人沉默不语，心中个自感慨，原来多年的婚姻，竟输给了沟通两个字。

有时候，我们是不是也一样呢?在该沟通的时候，选择不坦白，心中自以为是的认为"他/她应该要谅解我。"

可是我们却忘了，在一起的两个人，本来都是个体的一个人。对方又不是你心中的蛔虫，怎么有可能无时无刻都了你在想什么呢?

两个人能在一起，是缘分，也是福分。但要感恩，因为那一份幸运的眷恋，不是理所当然的。

爱一个人的时候，我们会有无穷的耐性，会不计较的容忍，会不舍得拒绝，只因我们会心疼他/她失望的眼神。

就如老太太一样，就算不喜欢，也会因为对方的殷勤而照单全受。就如同爱人送你一个不是很爱的礼物，你还是会开心的收下，因为你感动的，是那一份心意。

同样的，爱一个人的时候，我们会一心想要给对方最好的，会自我牺牲，会不舍得争取，只因我们会心疼他/她排在第二的委屈。

就如同老先生一般，就算很喜欢，也会因为想要对方享有最好的而作取舍。就好像你很爱的食物，在点餐是你会因为对方的喜好而避开不点，因为你想成就的，是对方的喜悦。

但是，在这当时，有没有停一停，听一听对方所要的，是不是你所以为的最好?

我们常常一厢情愿的以为，自己为对方作了多大的付出。

冲突的时候，以为不骂不吵，就是很大的忍让。心中OS我也不是好惹的，换作是别人，我早给他骂个狗血淋头了！

Don't Take For Granted

An unfortunate incident happened in the family yesterday. An aunt went to India and met an accident. We lost her there.

I remember my aunt as a loving and caring lady. We seldom met as she lived in KL. But each time meeting her was a wonderful experience. She was a passionate person. So lively and chatty. But now she is gone.

This is how unpredictable life can be. You never know that the goodbye you said this time would mean goodbye forever. It never crossed you mind that the chat you had this time would be the last word you heard from someone in your life. Last moment you were sharing a hearty laugh together and the next moment, you were left with coldness and tears in your heart.

People like us, we always think people and things around us are meant to be with us. In times, we failed to appreciate. Instead, we tend to take for granted. We like to say "never mind, i will do it tomorrow."; we say "what's the rush? we will see how it goes tomorrow."; or we would say "aiya..next time la.." etc. etc. etc.

But have it ever occurred to you that there might not be next time? That tomorrow you were saying might never come? Every precious in you life might not be there forever. You just never know.

Please. Don't take for granted. If there is anything you want to do, don't wait. If you really cared for anything or anyone, don't wait anymore. Don't wait until something unfortunate happened then only regret your hesitation or procrastination. Treasure everyone. And appreciate every little thing in life.

May all of us are showered with goodness and blessings at all times.

I came across a few troubling situations this year. Somehow it makes me realize how powerless i am over a few matters that are so important to me.

In life, there are a lot of unfairness. Maybe there is something that you want so badly, but you know deep in your heart that it won't materialise. It's hard. But it's true.

At this point of my life, i have a plan, which i wish is on track. I have my wants and needs. But i have to make sacrifices. It may seems unfair. But it's just how it is. I just can't complaint.

In reality, there are a lot of things in life that affect your decision. Most of the times, the biggest influence comes from the people who are most close to you. I tried my best to go after what i want in my life. And now, i am still trying my best. Although i do feel tired, although sometimes i lost hope, i still try because i believe in efforts.

I am a very stubborn girl. I don't like the idea of giving up. I don't approve people who stop halfway and show no enthusiasm. Nor do i agree with people who just say a plan but never show effort in realizing it. It is my belief that if you are really passionate about something, no matter what are the obstacles, you will still go for it. Reality is already hard, if you still let loose of what you want, you are making it harder. Don't give yourself excuse like i can't now, or see how it goes, or never mind, this can wait etc.

Bullshit.

Life is short. Live it to the fullest.

I am an observer, and most of the time, i am affected by the matter or person i am observing. I am not really sure if this is natural.

Facebook these days happened to be flooded with wedding photos. Friend's wedding, or friend of friend's wedding.

I have a friend who has a crush on a girl. But to bad to say, he was to slow in making up his mind on going after the girl of his dream. In the end, the girl is attached to another guy.

This really got me thinking.deep.

You know in life, sometimes you just have make a decision without any second thoughts. Life won't retake. And it's really true when people say "u missed the chance once, u missed it forever."

Some people hesitate whether to change the job he or she hates so much. Some wonder if it is the right time to continue study. Some doubt if it is the right time to start a relationship.

People. Sometimes they just worry too much.

Please. Open up your mind and listen to your heart. Just go with it for God's sake!

If you think you had enough of your boss, then start looking for a new one!

If continuing your study had always been in your future plan, then fill in the application form!

If you know you loved someone, and you know you want to be with him or her, then confess!

What is so difficult in taking the first step to start realizing your dream?

I don't understand.

People just love to wait.

Oh, i will wait until i........, then i will..........

Then?

Wait until you lost your passion? Wait until you lost that precious someone?

Passion won't burn forever. Most importantly, people won't live forever.

When you found that special someone, don't wait.

I came across some sayings some times ago that when a girl reach the age of 25, she will be shocked to see how the state of her once youthful skin deteriorates. And, isn't it so true. I am not yet 25 but my skin already look like it belongs to a 52-year-old..

Ok..maybe a little too exaggerating..but seriously i think it's true. T___T

I used to never worry about any skin problem when i was in secondary school. Of cause apart from all those never-ending teases about how dark i am..However, skin condition was never a problem.

But now..

My skin is:

- oily

- acne-prone

- dull

- and dark. This will never change of cause.

- and it takes ages to recover from any acne marks..

This is really annoying.

I bought some supposed-to-be-good facial products few months ago. But i don't think there is any improvement. Advertisement tipu punya..

Anyway, is there any other good and express way to good skin?

I ain't a smoker. I ain't a drinker. I cut down spicy food. I don't fancy oily and fried food. And i gurgled something like 4 litres of plain water every day.

But why is this still happening.

This is so darn unfair.

The day went on without any special celebration because it was a Monday. We bought a little present for each other in KK a few days before the anniversary. Well, my boyfriend is not really romantic. Haha. So, no point putting up hopes for a surprise. Anyway, it's ok. starting to realize that i no longer mind about passing a special day without any special celebration..is it because of age?oh my..

Holiday Again!

WooHoo! Holiday again after my last trip to Bali few weeks back. Well, the best thing about my work now is i am enjoying a 30-day annual leave. So, as much as it doesn't really offer a lot of job satisfactions, i think i can endure for the pleasure of being on leave on any time i want. ;p

I haven't been able to share a lot of the Bali trip yet, because i don't have the pictures with me in KB. That's a whole of more than 3000 pictures! Anyway, i will be really free when i am in KL. So, by then maybe can update a bit.

Tomorrow night i will be on the plane, off to KL again. Yes! I miss Jack. Can't wait to see him. We are going to KK on Saturday. Will be there for a whole week and back to KL on the next Saturday. I have been there on last Christmas. He has a really huge family there. Like HUGE!Haha! But everyone has been really nice and kind. :)

I like KK. A place with such a blue sky and blue sea. Island getaway is just a mere 20 mins away from the jetty. Sparkling clear water! Food are good. I like the seafood best. And oh, they have the best 'guo tie' ever! I am a fan of chillies, like super hot chili. But i think i have to stop taking so much chillies. I am already at the level where i can chew a raw cili padi without feeling hot. '_'lll Jack has been saying i would lose my taste buds if i didn't control. But no worries la, in KK no spicy food. I don't really know. But the last time i was there, i didn't have any. I think the main reason is because Jack is not fond of spicy food. So, i have to follow suit. But it's good in a way, because i really have to stop. Shien was saying the same thing as well. My mum has been nagging a lot on this matter as well. So, OK i will stop. ;p

Anyway, i didn't explore KK that much last time actually. Well, the trip wasn't meant to be a holiday trip. It was to get to know his family and his life there. So, i didn't go to Mount KK or Tip of Borneo or what. But i did went to 1 Borneo. Haha! To speak the truth is, i don't really have idea of the tourist's spots in KK. So, i googled. ;p

Langkawi Honeymoon

Papa n mummy went to their Langkawi's trip on 25th to 29th June. The trip was given to them as Father's Day and Mother's Day gift (plus to serve as well as their 25 years anniversary gift). ;p 3 in 1, I am so stingy.

i) when i am upset, just persevere to cheer me up. because no matter what is the problem, whether i am right or wrong, it does not matter. because that's not the point. and girls are always right. ;p ok la.. sometimes i will give in as well la. (reluctantly) hehe.

ii) once in a while, give me a little surprise perhaps? haha! not necessarily need to be a luxurious gift. what really matters is making me feel like you are having me on your mind every seconds of the day. price is not an issue, it is the intention that matters the most. ;)

iii) although sometimes you might feel it is better to keep it low key, but i wouldn't mind as well if you feel like you want to show your affections.. which translates to.. at least you can reply my wall post on FB.. xD

iv) well, i get nervous when i am around your friends and family. the reason is: i care for what they think. why? because i care for us. so, it is really important that you show your supports and be as gentleman as you can be to ease my awkwardness. :)

v) i really do not want or need to know how some people who used to be in your life are doing now. or i do not really want or need you to know about them as well.. hehe.. because one of the chemical reactions of girls is, (for my case), we turn green easily.

vi) this is very contradictory. i would love it if you take note of what i am eyeing on when we go window shopping. because it shows that you are very sensitive on my wants. if not needs. haha..(hey that's the point of shopping, we buy what we want)..hehe! but, no pressure here. ;p

vii) when we go makan, help me with the food please. because i am not good in cutting those lamb chops, or peeling the prawns. or technically should i say, i can do it. but food taste so much better when i don't have to do it on my own..muahahahahaha!!

viii) imagine doing this. in the middle of the day, send me a message just to tell me you love me.or miss me.. *melts*

ix) love my jimuis. because they are my jimuis. haha! and, oh ya, also because they will surely talk about you. anyway, don't worry, because you will surely have me on your side de lah... haha!

Today i did my first ever online shopping.. ehm..or 'half online' buy..hehe..can't really categorised as a 'real' online buy because my girl run the online boutique so i actually bought from her personally..but i did made an order after i saw the dress on her blog.hehe!what am i crapping about?

This is the dress. It is so boldly beautiful it lifted up my mood. WooHoo! I am feeling the holiday breeze now. ;p

Time moves so slow in KB.

I am really looking forward for my Bali trip on 12th June. WooHoo!!! 8 of us are gonna have a blast there! Oh SPA here i come...come on June, faster faster come.

By the way, life has been like static in KB. So there's nothing to blog about. Only i started a surprise birthday project for Jack. Hope he will like it. Anyway, we will be in Bali on his special day. So, no birthday party i guess. Hehe!

I Try To Write A Story

I have been kind of too free lately. Too much free time makes you go ga-ga sometimes. So, i decided to try to write a story. A story that revolves around a guy and a girl.

It's been so long since i last wrote. I mean since secondary school when the language teacher used to make us hand in our daily homework. I used to complain about it as well. I can still remember the last piece of works that i handed in was a script i wrote for the class drama. Too bad it didn't occur to me that time to keep a copy. Or else, i guess it d be a really good memorial piece of secondary school.Haha!

Then came the uni life. We all know how hectic life in uni could be. With all the works piled up, i gradually forgot my passion in writing. But it's still something i hold close to my heart. It's just that i didn't have the time to do it.

So, i guess it's not too late to start again. Playing with Chinese characters is so much fun. I am not a good one. But at least i am having fun.

So, no harm!

This is me. Doing what i should only do during bath time.

It was a video clip from an entertainment competition that i participated when i was working with my previous company. It wasn't a voluntary act though. Haha! But because i was the only representative from our department as committee in the company's club, i had to participate as no one else want to do it.

And, oh...why la someone has to put it on YouTube....

This is like oh-so-embarrassing. But still, i put it here because it is one experience that i won't encounter anymore.

Finally, i am capable of giving my beloved parents a more decent gift this year. Have been busy preparing for a short trip for them in Langkawi. Finally everything is set and i really hope they will enjoy their time there. It's my parent's 25th anniversary this year. Another honeymoon perhaps? ^^

June will come with sand and beaches awaiting in Langkawi for them. I hope they will have a blast.

May papa and mummy stay healthy and happy always.
